With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, Hammond brings a thoughtful and disciplined approach to helping individuals and families make informed financial decisions.
Hammond’s path into the profession began with a personal mission to better understand his own family’s finances. That experience grew into a lasting commitment to guide others through their financial lives with patience, clarity, and responsibility. Over the course of his career, he has served in both national and independent advisory settings, including roles at USAA Wealth Management and FocalPoint Wealth Management.
He holds a BA from Brigham Young University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Financial Planning Certificate from Kaplan University. Clients often describe his planning style as organized and attentive, with an emphasis on focusing on the details that matter most.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Hammond has lived in Italy and Utah and now resides in Phoenix with his wife and five children. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys volunteering in his church, singing in choirs, mountain climbing, trail running, and golfing. He is currently training for the 1.8-mile “Escape from Alcatraz” swim.
