VanOstrand has spent the past four years helping clients explore insurance-based strategies for retirement. His primary focus is fixed indexed annuities, including options designed for income now, income later, or reduced direct exposure to market volatility. He also advises on long-term care coverage and life insurance, helping clients prepare for future care needs and protect the people who depend on them.
VanOstrand earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Business from Central Connecticut State University. That background shapes the way he works with clients: clearly, thoughtfully, and without unnecessary jargon. Many of the people he serves are nearing retirement, already retired, or starting to think more seriously about how their savings will support them over time. His process centers on education, walking clients through how different strategies work and what trade-offs come with each, so they can make informed decisions that fit their goals.
