GLASTONBURY, Conn. — August 25, 2026 — Gateway Financial Partners (“Gateway”), a rapidly growing hybrid registered investment advisory (RIA) firm, today announced the appointment of Mike Dearing, financial advisor and second-generation owner of Elmbrook Associates, LLC, to its Partner Advisory Council.
The Partner Advisory Council is a selective group of hand-chosen Gateway advisors who provide direct feedback to the firm’s leadership on strategic initiatives, opportunities, and challenges. The council convenes for one in-person meeting each year, along with several scheduled calls and additional sessions as needed.

Dearing entered the financial services industry in 2019 and has played a key role in the continued growth of Elmbrook Associates, based in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. In addition to managing personal client relationships, he is responsible for branch management, operations, and the firm’s overall strategic direction. He is a graduate of Marquette University.
